Morgan City Police Chief James F. Blair has announced Veterans Blvd., between Fig Street and LA 70, will no longer be utilized as a truck route. Signs have been affixed by the City of Morgan City at both intersections marking that no trucks are allowed. Trucks will be detoured to LA 70, Fig Street and then onto Levee Road.
Officers with the Morgan City Police Department will be in the area conducting patrols to assure compliance with the route.
