An unidentified body was discovered in New Iberia over the weekend. The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the report of a deceased male that was found in the parking lot of a business in the 2700 block of South Lewis Street.
The deceased male was found to have no identification. The cause of death is pending an autopsy. This is an ongoing investigation and more information will be released when it becomes available.
