Two Arrests Made in Berwick High School School Threat

On Tuesday February 28, 2023 at approximately 9:18 am, Berwick Police Department responded to a call of a threat that was discovered on campus which forced the school administration to evacuate the school. During the course of the investigation, investigators developed two 17-year-old students as suspects who were allegedly responsible for the written threat. It was also learned during this investigation that school property had been damaged. The two 17-year-old male juveniles were later interviewed at Berwick Police Department and admitted to their involvement in this incident.

Both juveniles were subsequently placed under arrest at Berwick Police Department and charged with one count of Terrorizing and one count of Simple Criminal Damage To Property.

Following their arrest, both juveniles were released to the custody of their parents pending juvenile court proceedings.
