Travel Trailer Sustains Major Damage in Sunday Afternoon Fire Near Four Corners

On Sunday, June 26, 2022, St Mary Parish Fire District 11 was dispatched to the 1300 Block of Hwy 668 near Four Corners for a travel trailer on fire. Upon arrival at 12:58, first responders found a 45-foot trailer with heavy flames and smoke showing. By 1:17 pm, the commanding officer logged the scene under control.

A total of 14 firefighters and five units responded to the scene. District 11 received automatic mutual aid from Jeanerette and Chitimacha Fire Departments. The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office and Acadian Ambulance also responded to the scene.  No injuries were reported. District 11 thanked the agencies who assisted.
