Sheriff Craig Webre of Lafourche Parish reported the arrest of a Thibodaux man, Jake Clement, 46, on multiple charges related to child molestation. The arrest came after allegations of inappropriate contact with two children, both under 13 years old.
Detectives conducted an investigation and obtained an arrest warrant for Clement. On September 2, 2023, detectives apprehended Clement and booked him into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex in Thibodaux. He faces two counts of molestation of a juvenile under 13 and two counts of indecent behavior with juveniles, with bail set at $150,000.
