“K9 Jace helped us build our K9 Division by being one of the first additional K9s that Sheriff Blaise Smith added to the SMPSO. K9 Jace has helped build community relations by doing demos at schools, churches, and for the general public. He will be missed.” -Cpt. Chris Veillion, K9 Division

The sheriff’s office thanked K9 Jace for his loyal service.
A memorial service is being planned to honor the life and faithful service of K9 Jace after the holidays. The details will be announced to the public.
