St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office K9 Deputy Honored by M.A.D.D for 31 DWI Arrests

K9 Deputy Blake Giroir with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office was presented with a M.A.D.D. Hero Award this week in Baton Rouge.

Giroir made 31 drunk driving arrests, successfully taking impaired drivers off the roadways of St. Mary Parish in an effort to save lives.

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office said, “Thank you, K9 Deputy Blake Giroir, for your dilligent efforts to recognize impaired driving and take swift action in an effort to make our roadways safer for drivers!”
