St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 35 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Clifton James Escort Jr., 44, Pennsylvania, LA, was arrested on December 28, 2022, at 6:06 pm on four warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:
- Operating a vehicle while intoxicated
- Hit and run
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Possession of methamphetamine
- Resisting an officer with force or violence
- Obstruction of justice-tampering
- Possession of marijuana-more than 14 grams
- Resisting an officer
- Criminal neglect of family- 2 counts
