St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 25 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Derrick Cartez Walker, 30, Patterson, LA, was arrested on September 5, 2023, at 5:06 pm for fraud-access device. Bail has not been set at this time.
John Paul Ashmore, 52, Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 5, 2023, at 9:31 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $105,000.
Mitchell Alen Martin, 38, Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 5, 2023, at 11:27 pm for driving while intoxicated. Bail has not been set at this time.
Kenneth Kendell Lee, 44, Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 6, 2023, at 2:30 am for battery on a police officer and resisting arrest or officer. Bail has not been set at this time.
