St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 69 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Jason John Lanclos, 46, Franklin, LA, was arrested on January 8, 2021, at 6:17 pm for simple battery of the infirmed. No bail has been set.
Sean Joseph Dupont Jr., 26, Gibson, LA, was arrested on January 10, 2021, at 6:06 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoids, and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bail has been set.
Javier Castro, Jr., 32, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 10, 2021, at 6:08 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of speeding and operating a vehicle with license is suspended/revoked/canceled. No bail has been set.
April Lynn Aucoin, 40, Patterson, LA, was arrested on January 11, 2021, at 8:20 pm on five warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:
- Possession of clonazepam
- Resisting an officer
- Possession of methamphetamine (2 counts)
- Possession of alprazolam
- Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle
- Theft of more than $1,000
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Domestic abuse battery
