St. Martinville, LA – Sheriff Becket Breaux announced that the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office has recently received a Search and Rescue vehicle, generously donated by Anthony and Monica Carroll. This vehicle will be used by deputies to conduct high-water rescues in the event of floods or hurricanes, helping to safely evacuate residents in flood-prone and low-lying areas of the parish.

Equipped with high ground clearance and large tires, the vehicle can access locations that typical rescue vehicles cannot. The St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office expressed immense gratitude to Mr. and Mrs. Carroll for their valuable contribution, which will aid in protecting the safety of parish residents during severe weather situations.
