SMPSO Held Their Second Women’s Handgun Safety Class Over The Weekend

On Friday and Saturday, the SMPSO held their Second Women’s Handgun Safety Class. The class has been in high demand since Sheriff Blaise Smith announced the development of the new class a couple of months ago.

Lt. Col. John Kahl and Cpt. Ross Mire taught the classroom portion of the class on Friday night at the Morgan City Branch Office.

Lt. 1st Class Ryan Russo and Detective Minh Ngo, who staff the St. Mary Parish Regional Training Academy, provided the individualized firearm instruction on the Range Saturday morning.
