Two Injured in Tuesday Night Shooting in Baldwin

UPDATE: The Baldwin Police Department has released additional information regarding a shooting on Mardi Gras night that left two victims injured. At approximately 8:42pm, Baldwin Police Department was dispatched for shots fired in the area of Main and Lockley Streets.  Upon officers’ arrival, two male subjects were found with gunshot wounds.  Both subjects were transported by AirMed to medical facilities.  At the moment, there is no further information available.  There is an ongoing investigation being conducted.

Baldwin Police Chief Anthony Gibson has confirmed with KQKI News that his department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday night. Details are limited at this time, including how many victims were involved, but two Acadian Air Med helicopters were reportedly responding to the area.
