Cleco continues power restoration efforts to the remaining 3,050 customers who lost power due to Hurricane Francine. The company expects most customers will have power by end of day today, Sept. 13, and the remaining customers on Saturday, Sept. 14, including 3,0007 in St. Mary Parish.

The City of Morgan City continues to assess the damage and make repairs in Lakeside and Wyandotte Subdivisions as well as the feeder line on Youngs Road. No estimated timeline has been given for power restoration in those areas.

Entergy anticipates that 95% of all customers in Louisiana will be restored by this evening.

They said  strides continue to be made as Entergy’s storm team safely restores power after Hurricane Francine. As of 9:00 am., power has been brought back to nearly 90% of the 300,000 customers who lost power and can safely receive it.

Entergy expects Assumption Parish customers to be restored by 10:00 pm on Sunday.

SLECA has updated their outage map as of Saturday morning, which you may see below.

They said, “As we are posting updated maps, please understand that some areas that are shown green may still be out. Some of the individual taps have been left de-energized because they require further inspections or repair. The crews are working through each feeder doing that, but the main priority is getting the main feeder line energized.”

We appreciate your patience and understanding. It’s always best to call the office to report your outage. Please do not report your outage on Facebook. Thank you!”
