Routine Inspections to Close Right Lane on Atchafalaya River Bridge

Motorists are advised that the US 90 westbound right lane over the Atchafalaya River Bridge will undergo routine inspections resulting in partial closures on these dates:

From Monday, February 19, through Friday, February 23, lane closure will occur from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., contingent upon favorable weather conditions.

Additionally, on Saturday, February 24, the closure will extend from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., also depending on weather conditions.

During these periods, standard traffic flow will continue with a limitation of a 12-foot lane width for oversized vehicles passing through the designated work zone.

Emergency response vehicles may pass through the area but should anticipate potential delays.
