Railroad Crossing at Thorguson Road in Berwick to Close for Rehab Work

The Town of Berwick announced on Tuesday that the railroad crossing at Thorguson Road will be closed from Tuesday, October 4 – Thursday, October 6, due to a total rehab of the railroad tracks at the crossing.

The alternative route will be Utah Street to 7th Street, 7th to Oregon Street, right onto Third Street, and to River Road.

Anyone who will be utilizing the Harold J. “Babe” Landfill on Thorguson Road is also asked to use the alternative route. The town is asking for motorists to make plans accordingly and use the alternative route.
