Police Receive Training This Week

This week officers from the Morgan City Police Department along with officers from around the region are attending a class being instructed by the Regional Counterdrug Training Academy out of Meridian, Mississippi at the Emergency Operations Center in Morgan City. Patrol Officers Response to Street Drugs will teach officers about illegal narcotics they may encounter while conducting their patrol duties. The Regional Training Academy is a valuable partner in the continued training of police officers received throughout their career.
