PLATTENVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Calvin Toby LeBlanc, 40, of 201 Heriard Street, Plattenville, LA, on additional charges related to a scheme which resulted in LeBlanc’s and another man’s arrest in February of 2022.

Sheriff’s officials executed a search warrant which exposed a trail of crimes allegedly committed by LeBlanc and Kelly Don Papineau, 40, also of 201 Heriard Street, Plattenville, LA.

During the execution of a search warrant in February at the home the two men occupy, investigators recovered evidence linking LeBlanc and Papineau to a lengthy list of financial crimes against numerous people who reside in the same area as LeBlanc and Papineau.

*Illegal Transmission of Monetary Funds – 2 Counts
*Bank Fraud – 3 Counts
*Forgery – 2 Counts
*Monetary Instrument Abuse – 2 Counts

Calvin Toby LeBlanc remains jailed in lieu of bond set at $330,200.
