Pierre Part Man Arrested on Felony Drug Charges, Warrant

Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon announced the arrest of Troy John Mabile, 47, of Pierre Part, on felony drug charges stemming from a suspicious person complaint late Wednesday night.

A narcotics unit responded to the complaint in the 3300 block of LA 70 and made contact with the suspect, identified as Mabile. After interviewing him and conducting a search, agents seized a quantity of methamphetamine from Mabile. Further investigation revealed that Mabile was also wanted on a fugitive warrant from St. Martin Parish.

Mabile was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of possession of methamphetamine and as a fugitive from St. Martin Parish. He remains in jail awaiting a bond hearing.
