Pedestrian Injured after Being Struck By Van in Parking Lot of Franklin Business

An elderly woman was injured Friday afternoon when she was struck by a van in the parking lot of a business on Northwest Blvd. in Franklin.

Franklin Assistant Fire Chief Justin Martin told KQKI News that the van also struck several other vehicles that were parked in the parking lot.

The victim was transported to Franklin Foundation Hospital but was flown to a Lafayette hospital by Acadian Air Med. The incident remains under investigation by the Franklin Police Department.
