PATTERSON, La. — The Patterson Police Department received a major boost to its fleet Friday thanks to a generous donation from a local business.
Police Chief Garrett Grogan announced that Giles Nissan Automotive donated $8,000 to assist the department with the purchase of a new patrol unit.
The contribution is expected to help strengthen the department’s ability to serve the community by ensuring officers have reliable equipment and resources to carry out their duties.
Chief Grogan expressed appreciation to Giles Nissan Automotive for its support of local law enforcement and commitment to public safety in Patterson.
Officials say community partnerships like this play a vital role in helping departments secure needed resources while continuing to provide professional law enforcement services to residents.
