Patterson Police Chief Garrett Grogan announced that three arrests took place between August 21 and 22, 2023. Gage M. Gautreaux, age 25 from Houma, was stopped on US 90 in Patterson for speeding at 83 mph in a 55 mph zone. He was also charged with reckless driving, no insurance, and was incarcerated at the Patterson PD Jail with a bond of $921.
The second arrest involved Christine S. Crane, a 53-year-old from Franklin. She was apprehended on US 90 after being clocked at a speed of 67 mph in a 55 mph zone and driving with a suspended license. Crane was placed in the Patterson PD Jail with a bond set at $673.
Lastly, April A. Johnson, 47 years old and also from Franklin, was arrested on US 90 due to existing warrants from other jurisdictions. Charges included failure to appear (FTA), operating a vehicle with a suspended license, not having proper insurance coverage, disregarding seatbelt laws and faulty stop-light use. Johnson was taken into custody at the Patterson PD Jail, with no bond set at this time.
