According to the Morgan City Fire Department, at approximately 1:00am Thursday morning, MCFD was dispatched to a possible structure fire in the 600 block of Fourth St. Upon arrival, a single story, single family home was found partially engulfed in flames. Firefighters quickly attacked the fire, bringing it under control shortly after arrival.
No injuries to firefighters or civilians and the cause is under investigation at this time.
