New Iberia Police Detectives have obtained arrest warrants for two people in connection with a fatal shooting that happened late last week on Easy Street in New Iberia.
42-year-old Ja’Quan Dureil and 27-year-old James Johnson is wanted for first degree murder and armed robbery with a firearm.
Jenkins is wanted for letting a disorderly place, gambling, and obstruction of justice.
This is currently an ongoing investigation, and additional warrants are possible, authorities said.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Johnson or Jenkins is urged to contact law enforcement immediately. Johnson is considered armed and dangerous.
