New Iberia Man Arrested on 50 Counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles

LBI agents arrest New Iberia man for 50 counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles

Agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested a man from New Iberia on April 21, 2025.

34-year-old Riley Joseph Broussard, of Randy Drive in New Iberia, was arrested for violating:

50 Count(s) of 14:81.1– Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of 13 (Felony)
Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crime Unit, the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Homeland Security Investigations.

The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office also charged Broussard for violating:

2 counts of LA 14:95.1 Possession of Firearm or Carrying Concealed Weapon by a Person Convicted of Certain Felonies
1 count of 14:95.3 Unlawful Use of Body Armor.
Broussard was transported to the Iberia Parish Jail, where he was booked on the above-mentioned charges.

His bond information is still pending at this time.

The investigation continues.
