The motorcade to escort St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith from Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin to the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium will travel through St. Mary Parish on Thursday, beginning at 8:00 am.
KQKI has partnered with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office to provide real-time tracking of the motorcade so that St. Mary Parish residents may lineup along the route to pay their respects to Sheriff Smith.
To track the motorcade, download the KQKI smartphone app. Tap “Track Motorcade” from the menu on the left side of the app. The tracker will begin tracking the motorcade in real-time once it departs Ibert’s Mortuary.
The motorcade will end at the Morgan City Auditorium where the visitation will begin at 11:00 am, which will continue until the funeral service at 3:00 pm.
