Chief Chad M. Adams and the Morgan City Police Department are excited to announce that this year’s National Night Out event will take place on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. The festivities will run from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Lawrence Park in Morgan City. Attendees can look forward to live music from South 70, as well as an assortment of prizes for children.
A wide range of local departments have been invited to participate in the event, including the Morgan City Fire Department, Morgan City Marshals Office, St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office, Louisiana State Police, United States Coast Guard, St. Mary Parish E-911, and Chez Hope.
Visitors are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and enjoy interactions with the people who serve their community daily. The event promises fun for everyone and organizers are looking forward to a great turnout.
