The Morgan City Police Department, in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration, will participate in the Drug Take Back Program on Saturday, October 23, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.
The program is held so residents can rid their homes of all unwanted prescription medications. Walgreens Pharmacy and Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market in Morgan City will serve as the host locations for the program. Officers will be on hand at both locations and will accept unwanted prescription drugs, with no questions asked.
