Morgan City Man Charged With Trying To Obtain Identification Using Alleged False Documents

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Edgar Suazo- Flores, 42, of 1817 Victor II Boulevard, Morgan City, LA, on felony charges alleging that he attempted to obtain identification by submitting false documents to the Napoleonville branch of the Department of Motor Vehicles on Wednesday.

Deputies were dispatched to the DMV and upon arrival made contact with office personnel. Deputies received the necessary information and then arrested Edgar Suazo-Flores after confirming that the documents in question were fraudulent.

Edgar Suazo-Flores was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

  • Giving False Information Regarding Lawful Presence in the U.S. in Order to Obtain a Drivers’ License
  • Injuring Public Records
  • Unlawful Production, Manufacturing, Distribution or Possession of Fraudulent Documents for Identification Purposes

Edgar Suazo-Flores remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
