Morgan City Man Arrested In 2017 Burglary Case

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Curtis Morgan, 61, of 814 Clotilde Street, Morgan City, LA on felony charges related to a residential burglary in Pierre Part in December of 2017.

At the time of this offense, the complainant alleged that individuals including Curtis Morgan, had burglarized her home while she was at work and stole numerous household items and caused damage exceeding $2,000.

The complainant, through a Justice of the Peace filed charges including those against Curtis Morgan. Those charges were filed on January 02, 2018.

The charges against Curtis Morgan were entered into the National Database as Morgan could not be located.

Curtis Morgan was arrested by the Morgan City Police Department on May 23, 2022 and was transferred to Assumption Parish on May 24, 2022.

Curtis Morgan was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

  • Simple Burglary

Curtis Morgan remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
