A suspect wanted on several warrants was taken into custody after a foot pursuit Tuesday afternoon near David Drive in Morgan City. The Morgan City Police Department was attempting to arrest a a black male suspect who was wanted on several warrants when he reportedly ran from officers.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he is being processed and will be incarcerated. The suspect’s identity or outstanding charges have not been released at this time. We will update the story as more information becomes available.
