Missing New Iberia Girl Found Safe, Subject in Custody

Louisiana State Police say they have canceled the Amber Alert that was issued on behalf of New Iberia Police Department in connection with 10-year old Jalisa Lassalle after she was found safe and a suspect is in custody. Police say she was abducted Sunday evening after she was seen getting into a vehicle reportedly driven by 33-year old Michael Sereal of New Iberia. Jalisa is being evaluated by medical personnel.

Sereal faces a charge of aggravated kidnapping.
