The Morgan City Police Department is reminding the public of the “Safe Exchange Zone” located at the Morgan City Police Department. The area was designed in March 2016 to provide citizens a safe exchange site for internet purchases, child custody exchanges, etc.
The marked “Safe Exchange” area is located on the Myrtle Street side of the departments building. The exchange area is well lit and under constant video surveillance. Morgan City Police Department personnel are also available nearby should any assistance be required.
