Major Structure Fire in Franklin

Multiple fire departments are responded Wednesday evening to a major house fire on Darce Lane in Franklin. Franklin Police Chief Morris Beverly told KQKI News that there are no injuries to report. Iberia Street was closed to traffic in the area until the scene was cleared.
Franklin Mayor Eugene Foulcard said, “I would like to thank the Franklin Fire Department, Franklin Police Department, Centerville Fire Department, Baldwin Fire Department and all Volunteer Fire personnel that answered the call, Acadian Ambulance, and the dispatch operators that all worked to promptly work this house fire. Please continue to keep the family affected in prayer.”
