Labadieville Man Charged With Felony Theft After Stealing A Church Van

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Todd A. Scott, 28, of 120 Rose Lane, Labadieville, LA, in connection with the theft of a church van from the aforementioned address on December 18, 2020.

On the aforementioned date, deputies responded to a complaint of the theft. The complainant was a family member of Todd A. Scott and advised the van was stolen from the residence.

Later, witnesses identified Todd A. Scott as being the driver of that van on several occasions following the alleged theft. The van was later recovered in Donaldsonville and the ignition was heavily damaged.

Based on all available information, deputies requested and were granted an arrest warrant for Scott.

Todd A. Scott was arrested in Lafourche Parish on Thursday and transported to Assumption Parish where he was booked on charges of:

*Felony Theft

Todd A. Scott remains incarcerated with bond set at $14,000.
