Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office Investigating Two Robberies, One Arrested

OkNew Iberia, LA – On May 4, 2025, Deputies and Detectives with the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported robbery at the Circle K convenience store, located at 2709 E. Main Street, New Iberia, LA 70560.

Upon reviewing surveillance footage from the store, Detectives were able to identify the suspect as Bradley Lewis Jr. Following the investigation, Lewis was arrested and charged with First-Degree Robbery in violation of Louisiana Revised Statute 14:64.1.

In a separate incident, on April 28, 2025, Deputies and Detectives responded to an armed robbery at the Penny-Wise gas station, located at 1512 Weeks Island Road in Iberia Parish. The suspect revealed a handgun concealed in a hoodie pocket and demanded money from the register, also taking candy during the robbery. Lewis was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery in violation of Louisiana Revised Statue 14:64.

Both investigations are ongoing. Lewis has been booked into the Iberia Parish Jail.
