A Houma man has been arrested following an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct involving a 3-year-old child.
According to the Houma Police Department, detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division began investigating the complaint on July 13, 2026.
As a result of the investigation, Jamorion J. Francisco, 21, of Houma, was arrested and booked into the Terrebonne Parish Correctional Center. He is charged with sexual battery involving a minor and is being held on a $100,000 bond.
The Houma Police Department said it remains committed to protecting children and ensuring that allegations involving crimes against minors are thoroughly investigated. Officials added that those accused of such offenses will be held accountable through the criminal justice system.
