During their meeting on Wednesday night, Hospital Service District #2 of St. Mary Parish board members will hear from officials from Ochsner St. Mary Hospital about their recent announcement that it will soon end its labor and delivery services effective April 1. The board will also give the public an opportunity to comment following Ochsner’s presentation. The meeting begins at 6:00 pm and will be held at City Court of Morgan City.
In its announcement two weeks ago, the hospital said it was realigning its services to meet the needs of an aging population and was consolidating its labor and delivery services at Ochsner St. Anne in Raceland.
