High Visibility of Law Enforcement In Houma Schools

The Houma Police Department asks for parents of students not be concerned due to the high visibility of Police at all Houma school locations. The department said, in a release on Thursday, “For the remainder of the school year, the Houma Police Department will be highly visible at all school locations, ensuring the safety of students and staff”.

Officers will do random walk throughs of all schools within the city limits.
