If Friday’s first ever event at Maison Jardin is any indication, you’re never too old to pass a good time. Maison Jardin hosted their inaugural Senior Prom on Friday which was sponsored by Hargrave Funeral Home. The catered affair was complete with a full course meal, plenty of music and dancing. Since no prom is complete without royalty, Morgan City Mayor Lee Dragna had the honor of crowing Mr. Louis Bourgeois as King and Ms. Susan Materiste as Queen. Even a resident’s canine family member joined in on the fun.
In a post on its Facebook page, Maison Jardin said, “We were graciously and generously sponsored by Hargrave Funeral Home who provided an absolutely beautiful prom for our residents! THANK YOU Hargrave Funeral Home and your amazing staff for giving us a prom we won’t forget! Also, thank you to Mayor Lee Dragna for joining us and crowning our prom king and queen!”
