It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a remarkable young soul, Ghannon Probst. At the age of sixteen, Ghannon left this world, leaving behind a legacy that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.
A memorial service will be held in Ghannon’s honor on Saturday, November 4th, 2023. Visitation will be open to the public from 1:00 PM until time of service at 3:00 PM.
Ghannon, known by his rap alias “Dirty Money,” was a young man with a wealth of life experiences. His fearless spirit and unwavering loyalty were the cornerstones of his character, traits that endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him. With a charismatic charm and infectious sense of humor, Ghannon lit up every room he entered, making even the darkest days a little brighter.
An adventurous soul, Ghannon embraced life to the fullest. His empathy knew no bounds, touching the lives of all who crossed his path. He had a special affinity for animals, a reflection of the tender heart that beat within him.
In the realm of entertainment, Ghannon found joy in video games, particularly sharing Grand Theft Auto adventures with his sister Ryleigh. The Fourth of July held a memorable mishap as Ghannon playfully lost a shoe in the lively festivities of Sugar Mill Pond. Fond childhood memories were woven with his siblings through shared Minecraft adventures, a testament to the bond they held.
Late-night Circle K runs with his brother and the simple pleasure of Zapps pretzels brought Ghannon joy. He cherished his mother, Miranda Probst, above all else, their love forming an unbreakable bond.
Ghannon aspired for greatness, with dreams of creating his own business and traveling to New York and California. Though he harbored a fear of driving, he envisioned himself behind the wheel of an all-Black Crown Victoria, a symbol of his determination to conquer challenges.
In the world of make-believe, Ghannon took on the role of “Billy The Exterminator,” showcasing his imaginative spirit. Music was his muse, and he longed to become a music producer, sharing this passion with his beloved brother Sullivan.
Dinner dates with Ryleigh and cherished fishing moments with his grandpa created lasting memories, sewed into the tapestry of Ghannon’s short and vibrant life.
Though Ghannon’s time with us was tragically brief, his impact on our lives is immeasurable. May we find solace in the memories we shared with him, and may his legacy serve as a beacon of inspiration for us all.
Rest in peace, dear Ghannon. You will be forever loved and dearly missed.
Ghannon is survived is by his loving mother, Miranda Probst; his father, John Nolting; his siblings, Ryleigh Probst, Malleigh Tims and Sullivan Tims; his maternal grandparents, Brent and Kathleen Probst; his paternal grandmother, Johanna Cannata; as well as a host of extended family and friends whom he loved dearly.
