Franklin Man Arrested for Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material

𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐟 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥

𝐑𝐚’𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐫’𝐪𝐮𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐣𝐞𝐚𝐧, 𝟏𝟖, Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 23, 2025, at 3:16 pm on a warrant for possession of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13, (2 counts).

On June 5, 2025, at 4:20 am, deputies were dispatched to a residence in Franklin, which resulted in the arrest of Prejean for the charge of indecent behavior with a juvenile. Prejean subsequently was released on a $20,000 bond.

As the investigation continued, a detective discovered Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) on an electronic device owned by Prejean.

A warrant was obtained and on June 23, 2025, detectives made contact with Prejean and transported him to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail was set at $75,000 with a no-electronic-device condition.
