District 11 Fire Department arrived at a house fully engulfed in flames this morning in Four Corners.
The homeowner was asleep and woke up to a dog barking. The owner was able to escape the home, but the dog didn’t.
District 11 responded along with aid from Jeanerette, Baldwin, Chitimacha, and Franklin Fire. Scene security was provided by St Mary Sheriff and Medical was provided by Acadian.
District 11 Fire will set up a donation spot at our Central Station located at 1205 Big Four Corners Rd, Jeanerette La for anyone who wants to donate.
