Louisiana State Police Troop C, Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office and other agencies are on scene of a three-vehicle crash that left one person dead on Highway 398 between Bayou L’Ourse and Labadieville. Louisiana State Police Troop C Public Information Officer TFC Tiah Larvadain said the crash occurred Monday morning around 5:40 am, adding that LA 398 is closed until further notice.
Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Lonnie Cavalier tells KQKI News that he expects the highway to be closed into mid-afternoon on Monday while officers investigate the scene of the accident.
