St. Mary Parish School Superintendent Dr. Teresa Bagwell has announced that she will not seek an extension of her current contract which will expire in June 2023. School Board President Kenneth Alfred made the announcement at Thursday’s school board meeting. In an exclusive interview with KQKI News, Alfred discussed Bagwell’s decision and explained the timeline which led to her evaluation being placed on Thursday’s agenda.
