Early voting is set to start on Saturday, September 30th, and will continue through October 7th, with the exception of Sunday. Polling hours are scheduled from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm.

The October 14th ballot will include Louisiana statewide races including the election of a new governor, as well as legislative and local races.  Locally, voters will decide who will serve in several open seats including Senate District 21, St. Mary Parish President and Sheriff.  Several St. Mary Parish Council seats are also on the ballot.

Voters are encouraged to visit www.geauxvote.com to verify their polling location and review a sample ballot before casting their vote.

You can vote at either the Franklin Courthouse on the 3rd Floor or at the Sales Tax Office located at 301 Third Street Morgan City. Parish residents may choose either location for early voting only.

KQKI will provide live election results beginning at 8:00 pm on Election Night.  You can listen to our coverage on KQKI 95.3 FM or watch live on the KQKI Digital Video Network, which includes KQKI.live, the KQKI smartphone app, Facebook page, YouTube channel and on the KQKI tv apps on Amazon Fire Stick and Roku.
