Coast Guard Responding to Helicopter Crash in Gulf of Mexico, Crews Searching for Four People

The United States Coast Guard has confirmed to KQKI News that they are responding to a helicopter that crashed in the Gulf of Mexico, just south of the Louisiana coast. Crews are currently searching for four people who were onboard the helicopter. The Coast Guard says they received the call on Thursday morning at 8:40 am regarding the helicopter that crashed approximately 10 miles from Southwest Pass, which is located in Plaquemines Parish.
