Chitimacha Police Chief B.C. Trahan reports the following arrests:
On 10/13/2022; Lauren E Alleman, 31, Plant Village, New Iberia; was arrested on warrants obtained from an investigation on 07/15/2022. She was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and theft under $1000 (misdemeanor). She was transported to St Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. On 10/14/2022; Nicholas M Darby, 32, Clarence Rd, Charenton; was arrested on warrants obtained from an investigation on 10/18/2021. He was arrested from simple assault and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was transported to St Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. On 10/15/2022; Madeline Hebert, 24, Gibbs Road, Franklin; was arrested for simple battery. She was transported to St Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Thank you to Franklin Police Department for assistance.
On 10/16/2022; Demondre Watson, 26, Crosswinds Dr, Youngsville; was arrested for improper lane usage, possession of schedule I (marijuana 19.7 grams), and a fugitive warrant for Felony charges from Franklin Police Department. He was transported to St Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
