UPDATE: Boil Water Advisory Lifted

UPDATED: As of Saturday morning, the Boil Water Advisory has been lifted.

ORIGINAL: St. Mary Parish Water & Sewer Commission #4 has issued a boil advisory until further notice for the following streets in the Town of Baldwin due to a broken water line: Sansue Street, Utopia Street, Naquin Street, Johnson Street and Malcom Street

Officials say to bring water to a full rolling boil for one full minute. Allow to cool. Store in clean container with cover. To improve taste, add a pinch of salt to each quart of water.
