Berwick Police Department Responds to Threat at Berwick Jr. High School

Update:

A search of the school and surrounding areas were performed and no threats were found. Students have
returned to class where they will remain on cautionary status until the police investigation is complete. Officers
will remain on campus for the remainder of the day.


On Wednesday, February 15, at approximately 12:00 pm, the Berwick Police Department received a complaint from Berwick Jr. High School indicating that a written threat had been discovered on campus. Law enforcement was immediately notified and responded. Out of abundance caution, school administrators have evacuated the students. A search of the school and surrounding areas are being conducted at this time.
